The wife of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver gave birth to a baby girl on Friday.In line with the floral-themed names of his two other daughters – Poppy Honey, aged seven, and five-year-old Daisy Boo – the chef and his wife Jools have named the newborn Petal Blossom Rainbow.The couple said in a statement that Petal was born at 2.46am at the Portland Hospital in London weighing 6lb 10oz.  Both she and Jools are doing well,  it said. The Olivers would like to thank midwives Linda Ordish and Elaine Porter and also obstetrician William Dennis for their wonderful help and support.  Jamie and Jools are both completely smitten with Petal already and Jamie is looking forward to two weeks’ paternity leave to spend quality time with his four beautiful girls.             On the day his wife was expected to give birth (last Wednesday) Jamie was cooking for the G20 leaders, which he described in his diary as  a pretty cool gig .But Downing Street officials were ready to keep him informed if Jools had gone into labour.Discuss on the Confetti forumsFinding being a parent for the first time tougher than expected? Footballer Ashley Cole is reportedly planning to renew his wedding vows with wife Cheryl during a summer holiday in Dubai. The Sun said the Chelsea player is going to whisk the singer away for a romantic break once the football season is over. The 28-year-old is said to want to take the Girls Aloud singer back to the place where he proposed in the desert in 2005. He is thought to be looking for a ring to give to Cheryl, 25, and hopes the holiday will allow them to put allegations that he had a one-night stand with a hairdresser last year behind them.             A source told The Sun:  Ashley is setting the scene to renew his vows with Cheryl.  He has been planning to do something special this summer to prove their relationship is back to how it was. Robert Downey Jr celebrated his birthday on Saturday night in Los Angeles with a private party of celebrity friends.The Iron Man star welcomed 75 guests to the party at the Beverly Hills Thompson Hotel, in their second level Bond St Beverly Hills Lounge.With film producer wife Susan by his side, the Oscar-nominated actor took a break from his packed filming schedule to celebrate turning 44.Glamorous couples at the star-studded event included Sting and wife Trade Stiller, Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal, Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor.Robert Downey Jr was enjoying his birthday before filming the Iron Man sequel alongside his cast member friends Sam Rockwell, Gwyneth Paltrow and director Jon Favreau.            Gwyneth’s husband Chris Martin also came to the party, where guests munched on Sushi platters and chocolate cake. White Stripes drummer Meg White is set to marry guitarist Jackson Smith.The wedding is to take place on May 22 in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the Detroit Free Press. The couple are said to have got engaged early this year.Jackson, the son of iconic punk singer Patti Smith and late MC5 guitarist Fred ‘Sonic’ Smith, plays for Michigan-based band Back in Spades.The paper quoted a source as saying that the couple wanted the wedding to be a quiet affair.  They don’t want it to be a circus,  the source said.  They want it to be about the two of them. Meg was previously married to her White Stripes band mate Jack White. The pair divorced in 2000 after four years of marriage and Jack tied the knot with British model Karen Elson in 2005.            The White Stripes are currently on a break. Actress and singer Jill Scott has become a proud parent for the first time with her fiance Lil John Roberts after giving birth to a baby boy.The star of The No 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency gave birth to son Jett Hamilton Roberts, who weighed 7lbs 8oz, her manager told People magazine.Jill, who plays Precious Ramotswe in the BBC TV series, and her drummer partner only found out she was pregnant shortly before leaving for Botswana to film the show.Earlier this year, she told the Television Critics Association conference in Los Angeles that spending the first trimester in Botswana was one of the biggest challenges of her life.She said:  You’re sick every morning. Few brides realise that it is in fact the concealer that is the key to a lasting finish.Concealer is such an important step in professional make‐up application. It is used to conceal dark circles under the eyes and it covers sunspots, blemishes, areas of pigmentation, scars, and red cheeks, chin and noses.Use concealer if you want to:Achieve a fresher more youthful appearanceCreate a base for your eye shadowCover obvious blemishes on your skinEye shadow is not designed to be applied onto skin, it simply will not blend or last. Concealer is the key to providing a blended and lasting finish.Conceal over your eyelids, through the crease of your eyes and on the dark circles under your eyes. Follow this step with loose powder ‐ applied with a powder puff in a firm pressing action, to set the concealer for a lasting finish.As we age the skin around our eyes becomes pigmented and looks tired, either turning pinky/red on a light skin or on a darker skins the eye area becomes even darker. Concealer knocks out the discoloration around the eye area and the eyes look more awake and younger.When purchasing a concealer look for a cream textured concealer. It’s sold in a tub, rather than a stick or wand. The stick (like a lipstick container) concealer is to hard and can make the surface of your eyes look older by caking into the fine lines. A liquid concealer is usually sold in a wand type applicator with a sponge on top. It blends away and creates little or no base for your eye shadow to adhere to. A creamy textured concealer will create a suitable surface for your loose powder and eye shadow to adhere to, which in turn will create an amazing lasting make‐up finish.            Eye primer or concelear?Eye primers are quick to apply and are relatively new on the market making them a popular choice. However, eye primers provide very little coverage over the eyes and therefore they don’t freshen the skin on the eye surface. If you use the correct creamy textured concealer, it will provide suitable coverage and a base for your eye shadow, making it the perfect choice!Test your concealer and powder over your eyes a few days before your wedding, to make sure you don’t experience any discomfort or allergic reactions.If you are a mature bride avoid applying to much concealer under your eyes towards the laughter lines – the more make‐up you apply onto a lined area the older you will look. Couples are spending less on getting married during the recession, with the average cost of weddings down by i5,000 compared with last year, a new study reveals.According to the survey commissioned by the Living TV channel, wedding spending stands at i15,261 in comparison to last year’s i20,273, with an additional i3,288 paid for an engagement ring.The poll of 4,000 people also found that friends shell out around i361 for the hen or stag do and for a gift on the big day.
